This year several Seminars will be available! Another occasion to learn new amazing techniques, complete small projects having fun.

They will be held on Monday evening 20.00 - 22.00 by our Teachers.

Costs of Seminars will be paid to the Teacher in class.


BETH FREEMAN-KANE

SCULPTING AND PAINTING A LITTLE SNAIL:

Take a little dip in Beth's wonderful world of wildlife sculpting and painting by making this tiny little snail.

Cost: EUR 5

ERIK GODDARD

BRICK MAKING:

Learn different ways to use foam and other materials to make realistic bricks.

Explore several ways to make convincing brick and stonework, using foam and other products. We'll work on several sample pieces that show some methods that you can apply to your own projects. When the samples are built, we will age and weather them using different techniques with paint and effects.

Tools Needed: 

A couple of small brushes, a medium brush, small blade (hobby knife) and a ruler.

Cost: Eur 10 (including use of material)

ANN HIGH

LOVELY LINENFOLD:

Learn how to carve a linenfold panel in easy stages. I will also give a brief history of linenfold.

Tools Needed:

Cutting mat, a magnifying headset and a light. Tools provided to borrow.

DIFFERENT WAYS OF PAPER AGING AND DISTRESSING:

Explore and learn different ways of aging and distressing paper. In this seminar you will make a small handout/deskbook with differently aged papers, with your own written instructions on the back about used materials and colors.
